Microsoft has been trying hard to wean away users from Google's Chrome to its Edge browser. The software giant initially had made it quite complicated for users to download and use Chrome on Windows 11 machines. While past versions of Windows allowed users to set up Google Chrome as the default browser with one or two clicks, this wasn’t the case when Windows 11 first became available to the public. The OS Build 22000.593 released in March 2022 brought back the do-it-all default button that allowed users to set Google Chrome as default browser. This means there's now a single button in Windows 11 Settings that users need to press to make Google Chrome their go-to browser.
