Niantic, the US-based mobile games developer behind Pokemon Go, has announced 230 job cuts as part of a restructuring plan. CEO John Hanke cited internal and external factors and a global macroeconomic slowdown as reasons for the layoffs. The company will also shut down its Los Angeles-based studio and cancel the NBA All-World game and its upcoming Marvel-based title.
