Intel has announced its 14th generation CPU architecture, called Meteor Lake, which will be released on December 14th. This new architecture includes a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for accelerated AI performance. Meteor Lake also incorporates Intel's Arc graphics and features a new chiplet design for improved power efficiency. The architecture allows for independent functioning of each tile and reduces manufacturing costs. Additionally, the CPUs will integrate Intel's Xe LPG graphics and offer native HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 support, as well as Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Finally, the Core Ultra CPUs will include an integrated NPU for power-efficient AI acceleration.
