Google removed astrophotography from Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5. Now it's back on Pixel 8 Pro. It may only be available on the Pro variant and not older models. Astrophotography allows users to take stable photos of the night sky. Pixel 8 Pro's ultra-wide camera supports 4:1 pixel binning for better low-light images. The feature may be exclusive to Pixel 8 Pro due to its pixel-binning 48MP ultra-wide sensor. Google may use this as a way to push users towards the more expensive model each year.
